Shareholders count more than customers.
The Post office service is terrible. Since privatisation they are only interested in making profits and paying shareholders. Good customer service has gone out of the window.

The Post Office Branch at County Road…
The Post Office Branch at County Road Post Office, in Liverpool, opened late instead of 9 am. Someone who worked there knocked on the door to be let in. This one is after 9 am. And I was told please, could you wait for 5 to 10 minutes because they were waiting for the safe to open. What's the point of it saying 9 am when they are late in opening. It should be against Post Office policy for late opening times. And when there is only one person serving behind the counter when it's full. It was a lot better service when the previous people who worked at this Post Office, not these ones. USELESS!!!

YET MORE MISSING MAIL !!!!!!
Would"nt even give this lot one star but you have to ? what is the point in putting a return address on parcels when the Post office have one intentions of returning undelivered items to the address i have been on several auction sites for the past 18/20 years & NEVER once have i ever had anything returned as undelivered they always seem to go "missing" !!!!
Don’t give your money to the Post Office…
I have an online savings account with the Post Office but have been unable to transfer any payments since Sunday. I’ve called 3 times over the last 2 days. Apparently there’s a technical problem on my account which could take another 24 - 48 hours to fix. I’m at work during the times the tech team are available & I’m not able to give them authority to speak with my husband, who is retired & has the time to speak with them.
Even after a call back from a manager, we’re no further forward. I am so frustrated & angry ?

Horrible Tachbrook St branch
Actually, this review is only one post office in Tachbrook St, Pimlico. The Indian looked guy was extremely unfriendly and not doing any customer service. I’ve asked him for a pen to mark one thing on the receipt, and he abruptly said “go to the shelves. Why do I have to let you use my pen?”. The pen was in front of me but he didn’t let me use it! Beside, he said don’t come back as he has lots of other customers to come back!! Horrible arrogant person. Very bad. Don’t buy anything from there.
Brockley Rise Post Office Under a New Management. Hallelujah!
I went to my local Post Office- 70 Brockley Rise, London SE23 1LN- yesterday and noticed something very different. The members of staff were very friendly, polite, engaging and helpful. I had to check to confirm I was where I thought I was.
When I got to the till, I asked the man if the post office was under a new management and ownership, and he said yes. That was when I realized things have changed. The former owners were very rude, entitled, unhelpful, impolite and thought they were doing you a favour. Thank God, good riddance....... We are a happy and friendly community and don't need such people around especially in our post office.
To the new owners, welcome. I am happy to have you guys around. Godspeed.
Has the PO lost it's way?
Today's experience; I wanted to post a letter recorded delivery and briefly recalled that I'd seen a sign in the window of the shop where the PO had been saying that it had relocated. So before driving the 12 miles to my nearest branch I looked up the location on the PO website. To my surprise The Burghmuir PO that I'd thought closed for good had according to the PO provided map apparently relocated to the middle of the road near Highclere Business Park. The nearest "shop" to it was Andersons (an unlikely match). I decided not to go there as I couldn't be bothered trying all the nearest commercial premises until I found the one that the PO was camping out in. I went instead to the Inverurie PO which is "temporarily" (we'll see) lodging in the broom cupboard of McLeish's a small local convenience store. The PO's online location map gave the number & name of the street where the Inverurie branch was located but what would have been of more use would have been the name of the business on who's premises it was located; given that the shops don't generally display their numbers. I found out from the Inverurie counter assistant that the Burghmuir branch was actually in J G Ross's; this should be clearly indicated on the PO website; which it is not. Customer's shouldn't be expected to go on an orienteering expedition to find a branch. It's one way of discouraging customer's from visiting a branch so that closing them down is more justifiable.
Overall the words/phrases that I would use to describe the PO are; lost it's way; forgotten it's root/heritage; treats is PostMasters/Mistress's/Customers with contempt; abandoned by the government; just another letter/parcel/logistics firm that cares only for it's shareholder's profits and executives bonus's. It's so sad it's come to this.
Tracy in the post office on Thornbury…
Tracy in the post office on Thornbury high street is amazing and puts up with my Liverpool humour
Lazy Staff!
Lazy Post workers are the worst! I am at home and have just received a text saying they’ve delivered my parcel. I live in a small block of flats. They did not buzz me to be let in the communal door. They seem to buzz any random number and they DUMP your parcel in a communal post area. That’s twice in a week. I have lost packages because of their laziness and the companies that use them have to replace the goods. They should claim from Royal Mail. It’s disgusting.
post office closier

Post office in smiths store ormskirk
Post office in smiths store ormskirk, busy Saturday, pity there was only one staff on duty. Customers leaving the queue, because of the time it was taking.
Mediocre service
I was returning a clothing parcel and paid £8.05 for 2nd Class Signed for delivery. Over 2 weeks went by and the parcel was still not showing as being delivered!! I filled in an online claims form to state my parcel had been lost and within 3 days I received a cheque from the Post Office for the clothes returned and the postage. I would have rated 1 star had it not been for the prompt arrival of the cheque as the parcel should not have gone missing!

Quite simply an awful service… doesn’t…
Quite simply an awful service… doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
Opted to use delivery and pick-up at my local post office (Oval, Hereford) to make sure I would receive an urgent parcel in time (having paid a premium for RM 24 tracked).
My parcel has apparently been delivered (not sure how my name is down as the signatory on RM tracking but that’s probably a Royal Mail issue!). Unfortunately the post office is closed all week with no idea when it will be open.
So I have no way of getting my parcel, the opening hours have not been updated and show 9-5:30 on the Post office website and the site is still being offered as a pick-up location when it isn’t open.
What business anywhere offers a service it can’t provide?
According to the local Royal Mail delivery office nothing I can do except wait 18 days for the parcel to be returned to them and from there who knows how long it might take to get back to the retailer.
Looks like I’ll end up out of pocket, not to mention the time I’ve wasted having twice gone to try and collect my parcel.
Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead
Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead. I have been meaning to leave this review for ages as year in year out I get the best service here .. Just to say that the man who runs the post office (and also the lady who runs the newsagents, I dont know if she runs the post office too) is absolutely lovely and always so helpful. I dread going to pretty much every post office except this one which is always a pleasure. Always find just the thing I need as well in the retail space between the newsagent and post office. Thanks guys!
